This is an independent guide to five places to visit in Madrid: the Royal Palace, the Prado, the Reina Sofía, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and the Palacio de Liria. We built it to put what you need in one place: opening hours, how to get there, and tickets and tours worth booking.

We are not the Royal Palace, the museums or the Palacio de Liria, and this is not their official website. We do not run these places, we do not use their logos, texts or images, and we do not sell their official tickets. The names of the places are the names of the places, and we use them only to describe them.

The tickets and tours featured here are sold by our partners Tiqets and Viator, third parties, and their prices come from them at the time of writing. Opening hours and rules come from the official websites, and we note when we last checked them. If you spot a mistake, write to us and we will fix it.
